About the School
The
Kitchen Door cooking school opened in the year 2000, and enjoys a following from
many states in the Northwest.With Whidbey Island as home to commercial organic gardens, mussel farms, wineries, food producers and cookbook authors, we are able to use local products for our classes. As time permits, we take field trips to
local growers and producers.
The goal of The Kitchen Door
is to teach the skills necessary for you to become comfortable and competent in the
kitchen. We teach everything from everyday cooking to extravagant entertaining, while
maintaining a relaxed learning environment and a lively interchange of ideas. Plan-ahead
menus and healthy options will be featured, with ease of preparation a key component to
everything taught in class.
The Kitchen Door cooking
school is hosted in many fine private kitchens throughout the community of South Whidbey
Island. Complete directions are included when you sign up for a class. Join us for one or
more of the outstanding classes offered in these spectacular settings.
The Kitchen Door is happy to arrange an
imaginative cooking school retreat and team-building experience for your
company. Courses limited to 10 participants. |
